P.S.

How exciting is it (if you're me) to read in XLR8R this month (by cub reporter and phantom HIAF correspondant Phil Sherburne) that current tech-trance (be honest) poster-boy Mathew Jonson wants to "get back to his junglist roots," specifically the V/Metalheadz/Full Cycle axis. Take that Michael Mayer, you big snooty-puss.

I always knew my reservations about MJ were well founded.

A HOUSE DIVIDED

seriously though, i just dl/ed abt ... 25? 30? mat jonson tracks and i was wondering what's your top 10, jess? cause i need to put them onto a CD for listening to at work. i'm having lots of these, you know, "serenity now" moments.

"folding space", "decompression", "ball of light" ... what else? pick ten?

I still think "Typerope" is the best.

"folding space" is number 1 by a long long long way for me.

I don't know if I even bought any of the other 400 tracks he's done in the last year, not that I don't like them.

hey vahid i am terrible with track names (as u kno), but if you haven't gotten the "all m. jonson mix" @ http://www.markconsumption.com you should because it's what i listen to rather than individual trax.

but yeah, "folding space", "decompression", "typerope", "911 can i help you?", a few others. (though even i can't figure out why someone would want to listen to something like "decompression" on its own rather than in tha mix.)

Faves not yet mentioned:

911, How Can I Help You?
She Is He
Alpine Rocket (w/ Luciano)
Freedom Engine
Marionette

If MJ went drum d&b, something tells me he wouldn't be far from Photek and Boymerang. ("Still" and "Decompression" don't seem all that different... at least not in my head right now.)
